Authorities on Montserrat have issued orders to ease the island's COVID-19-related domestic measures and international travel restrictions as of July 29. Under the current controls, which will be in place until at least Aug. 31, wearing a facemask is no longer required in public spaces, and travelers are not required to possess a negative result from a pre-travel test to enter Montserrat.

Domestic Measures
Businesses must operate in accordance with social distancing measures. Public places are no longer subject to capacity limits.

International Travel Restrictions
All travelers ages two and older must take a COVID-19 test upon arrival in Montserrat. If the test result is positive, they must self-quarantine for 10 days. After 10 days, they may leave quarantine without the need for an additional test. Health officials may question individuals on arrival and ask them to isolate if they consider the travelers to be at high risk of being infected with COVID-19.

Authorities may amend travel and business restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on COVID-19 activity.
