Assaillants kidnapped up to 36 residents in the Keke B area on the outskirts of Kaduna, Kaduna State, late July 25. In Zamfara, assailants kidnapped up to 30 residents and killed at least four people in the Morai locality late July 26. An unspecified number of abductees reportedly escaped. No group has claimed responsibility, nor has there been any reported ransom demand.
