Informational

Event

Unionized Aviation Fuel Services (AFS) staff have suspended plans to strike at London Heathrow Airport (LHR) 05:00 July 21-05:00 July 24. Representatives of Unite the Union, the union that represents the AFS workers, indicated July 20 that the work stoppage has been put on hold as workers vote on a new pay offer put forward by management. While the pay dispute had not been resolved as of late July 20, flight disruptions related to AFS labor actions are now unlikely to materialize at LHR over the coming days.
