San Francisco International Airport (SFO) in San Francisco, California, resumed normal operations early July 16 following an earlier bomb threat. The international terminal was evacuated late July 15. According to a police spokesperson, officers detained one individual in connection to a suspicious package. The BART train station at SFO will resume departures at 06:25.

Over the coming hours, heightened security and localized transport disruptions remain possible at SFO. Residual disruptions to flight operations at SFO, notably delays, are also possible.
