Police arrested a suspect for theft against a French national on Phu Giao Street in District 5, Ho Chi Minh City, at around 12:00 July 12. The victim was using her mobile phone in public when the perpetrator snatched the device while riding a motorcycle. Police officers on patrol in the area detained the suspect near the site shortly after the incident and returned the phone to the victim.
