Sao Tome and Principe eases select COVID-19-related domestic and travel restrictions as of Aug. 10.
Event
The government of Sao Tome and Principe has eased select COVID-19-related domestic and travel restrictions as of Aug. 10. Facemasks are no longer mandatory in enclosed public areas and inside vehicles; the requirement remains to enter health institutes. In addition, unvaccinated travelers are able to enter the territory if they present a negative antigen or PCR test result issued no more than 48 or 72 hours before arrival.
International Travel Restrictions
Fully vaccinated travelers can enter Sao Tome and Principe without additional requirements.
To exit Sao Tome and Principe, the entry rules of the destination country apply.
Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
