As of Sept. 27, Danish authorities are instructing vessels to remain outside a five nautical mile (9.2 km, 5.75 mile) radius off the island of Bornholm, following gas leaks from the Baltic Sea Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines overnight. It is unclear how long the measure will be in place. The cause of the leak and resulting pressure drop within the pipelines is unknown.
