DRC: Stay-at-home protest ongoing in Bukavu Sept. 27

Civil society groups in Bukavu, North Kivu Province launched a stay-at-home protest in Bukavu, Sept. 27. The action is to denounce the control of the town of Bunagana, also in North Kivu, by M23 rebels, and demand the departure of the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) and an end to the ongoing State of Siege.
