The Janata Dal United (JDU) party has called for protest marches at block headquarters across Bihar State 11:00-15:00 Sept. 27. Organizers are denouncing the central government under the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for various economic and social issues. The largest participation is probable in Patna, where supporters plan to march from the the Baba Saheb Park along Bailey Road to Gandhi Maidan Park. Several dozen to a few hundred supporters are likely to join each event.

Protests are most probable at public squares and major traffic intersections. Security personnel will likely monitor large gatherings and may try to disperse disruptive rallies. Localized ground transport disruptions may occur along march routes. Protesters may clash with police and/or rival party members.
