At least three projectiles landed near the Green Zone in Baghdad Sept. 28. The incident prompted sirens at the US Embassy. Authorities did not immediately confirm any casualties or damages. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Increased security and localized transport and business disruptions are likely in and near the Green Zone in the coming hours. Further similar incidents cannot be ruled out in the coming days.
