Police completed a sweep of Heights High School, located at 413 E. 13th Street in Houston, Texas, Sept. 13. While initial reports suggested that an active shooter may have been inside the building, police did not locate a gunman. Authorities now say that the report of an active shooting was a false alarm. There were no injuries to staff or students. Students have been dismissed early to be taken home on buses.
