Climate activists affiliated with Code Rouge are demonstrating in Liege and Feluy, Oct. 8 and plan further protests Oct. 9. Demonstrators have gathered outside TotalEnergies depots in Lieges and Feluy to demand that companies stop the use of fossil fuels. The groups are blocking railway tracks near the depots and causing localized disruptions. Police are monitoring the gatherings. While Code Rouge has called for demonstrations in Belgium on Oct. 9, the times and locations have not been confirmed. Protests in other locations are also possible Oct. 8.
