The All India Trinamool Congress party has called for a march from Gandhi Ghat to the Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan in Agartala, Tripura, starting 11:00 Nov. 14. A public address will occur at the endpoint. Organizers intend to denounce the state government under the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for its alleged failure to control gender-based crimes, such as sexual assault. Dozens to a few hundred people will likely participate.

Authorities will likely monitor the event and may try to disperse the gathering if it is especially disruptive. Participants may clash with police and/or rival party members. Localized transport disruptions are likely along nearby roadways that attendees may march on or use to reach the rally venue.
