Several rockets impact Erbil Governorate, Iraq, morning of Nov. 14. Increased security, localized disruptions likely.

Several rockets targeted the headquarters of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (KDPI) in Koysinjaq District, Erbil Governorate, the morning of Nov. 14. At least one person has died, while 10 others have been injured. No group has claimed responsibility for the incident, although the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has carried out similar attacks in the past.
Heightened security measures, as well as localized transport and business disruptions, are likely in the vicinity of the impact area over the coming hours. Additional attacks targeting key Kurdish sites cannot be ruled out.
Koysinjaq District is approximately 60 km (37 miles) east of Erbil.

Avoid the vicinity of the affected area until authorities give the all-clear. Heed the instructions of local security personnel. If incoming fire is reported in the general vicinity, stay indoors, away from windows and exterior walls. If possible, move to the ground floor or basement.
