Japan: Delivery workers to protest in Tokyo during one-day strike Nov. 25

Unionized delivery workers will protest outside the Amazon Japan G.K. office in Meguro city, Tokyo, Nov. 25 during a one-day strike. The action is part of strikes and protests at multiple global locations Nov. 25 by Amazon employees to demand better working conditions. Dozens of people may participate.

Authorities will likely monitor the demonstration and may attempt to disperse the gathering if its is especially disruptive. Localized transport disruptions are possible. Although violence is unlikely, minor skirmishes cannot be ruled out if activists attempt to breach security cordons and/or block roadways.
