More than half of Moldova, is without electricity, Nov. 23, according to authorities. The capital Chisinau, was without power, though this has subsequently been restored. The power outages follow Russian air and missile strikes across Ukraine. Andrei Spuni, the Deputy Prime Minister and Infrastructure Minister, stated that the blackouts were caused by Russian strikes on Ukraine's power networks. It is not known how long the outages will last.
