The protesters also plan to march to Parliament in Rabat Nov. 17. Demonstrators are demanding increased wages, better working conditions, and better contracts.
Increased security and localized transport disruption are likely throughout Nov. 15-17. Additional protests are possible for the duration of the labor action. While the demonstrations will likely pass off peacefully, minor clashes between protesters and security personnel remain possible.
