Authorities in Spain have temporarily closed the airspace over some eastern parts of the country the morning of Nov. 4 due to the threat presented by the uncontrolled re-entry into the atmosphere of a Chinese rocket. The airspace closure affects Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN), Reus Airport (REU) near Tarragona, and Ibiza Airport (IBZ) and currently extends until 12:17. Flights may not transit the affected airspace, nor will flights be permitted to depart the mentioned airports.

Significant flight disruptions are likely, and some disruptions will likely persist throughout the day.
