Liberia: Opposition coalition to rally in Mills Center near Monrovia, Dec. 17

The opposition coalition Collaborating Political Parties (CPP) has called for a rally at the SKD Stadium located in the Mills Center locality near Monrovia, Dec. 17. The action has been called to denounce overall bad governance. Authorities have not granted permission for a gathering at the location. The start time is unclear. Various opposition parties and civil society groups may support the action; the event may draw thousands of participants.

Heightened security and localized traffic disruptions are likely in the vicinity of the stadium. The SKD Stadium is located near the road connecting the Monrovia city center and Roberts International Airport (ROB).
