Emergency crews are responding to a fire at a factory near Poniente 134 and Norte 45 in the Industrial Valley (Industrial Vallejo) area of Mexico City as of late Jan. 10. The cause of the fire is unclear, and there have been no reports of casualties.

Emergency personnel will probably remain in the area until they extinguish the blaze and complete investigations into the incident. Road closures and localized traffic diversions are likely through at least early Jan. 11.

Avoid the area until the situation stabilizes and authorities give the all-clear. Seek alternative routes to circumvent the affected site, and allow additional time to reach destinations near the impacted area.
