Morocco to ban travelers arriving from China from Jan. 3. Other minimal international travel requirements remain in effect.

Authorities in Morocco are banning all travelers arriving from China from Jan. 3 due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases. The ban includes all individuals, regardless of nationality. It is unclear how long the restriction will remain in effect. A health state of emergency (SoE) is in place, granting the government authority to impose proactive measures, including curfews and travel restrictions.
International Travel Restrictions
All travelers must complete a "Public Health Passenger Form" before arrival in Morocco. Children under the age of 12 are exempt from this requirement. Additionally, travelers are no longer required to provide proof of having received a negative COVID-19 test result or a vaccination certificate to enter the country.
The kingdom has reopened its maritime borders, with entry requirements being similar to those for air travelers. Spain's land borders with Morocco at Melilla and Ceuta are open.
Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
