Authorities have issued orders to restrict telecommunication and internet services in Nuh District, Haryana State, through Feb. 28 in response to recent protest activity along the Nuh-Alwar highway that resulted in the apprehension of 500 activists; organizers demanded the arrest of those responsible for the alleged murder and abduction of two Muslim men.

Officials are maintaining a heightened security posture in Nuh as a precaution.
