Local authorities will dispose of an unexploded ordnance at a construction site in Nagashima Town, Kuwana City, from 09:00 Feb. 5. The operation will begin with evacuations of buildings within 300 meters (984 feet) of the disposal site at around 08:00. Officials did not specify when clearance operations will conclude.

Security personnel will deploy to enforce the evacuation zone. Police will close nearby roads, such as National Route 1, during the operation, and localized transport disruptions are likely from 09:00.

Kuwana is approximately 5 km (3 miles) west of Nagoya.
