A TransNamib train derailed outside Ludertiz town in IIKaras Region on Feb. 28. Officials confirmed that two locomotives and 22 wagons were involved in the accident, the cause of which is unknown. The impacted line has been closed. At least three people were reported injured during the incident. TransNamib is a state-owned entity that operates freight and passenger rail services.
