Activists from the Freedom and Reunification Party plan to rally along Sejong-daero in Seoul March 1 to commemorate the Korean independence movement in 1919. Participants will gather between the Donghwa Duty Free Shop and Seoul Metropolitan Council 13:30-17:00. Around 50,000 people are expected to attend the event. Separately, around 420 people from the Justice and Memory Solidarity group plan to hold a rally and march along Sejong-daero 12:00-14:00.
