Heightened security is likely in and around Huwara in the West Bank on March 19 after a shooting incident. An unidentified assailant shot and injured one person driving in an Israeli-licensed vehicle near the Einabus Junction. The suspect was shot, injured, and apprehended by security forces.

Officials could implement additional road closures and identity checks in the area in the coming houres. Additional security patrols may also be ordered.
