Spain lifts remaining COVID-19 international travel restrictions as of March 1.

Authorities have lifted all remaining COVID-19-related entry requirements as of March 1. Previously, travelers from China had been required to present a negative COVID-19 test or proof of vaccination before departure to Spain.

Domestically, authorities have lifted the mandatory use of facemasks on public transport. Accordingly, there are no other domestic COVID-19 restrictions in place.

Authorities could tighten or otherwise amend restrictions with little-to-no notice based on disease activity over the coming weeks.

Follow all official instructions. Abide by national health and safety measures. Reconfirm all travel arrangements. Consider delaying traveling if experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19, as they may prompt increased scrutiny and delays. Liaise with trusted contacts for further updates and guidance.
