Workers in various air transport sectors in Italy plan to strike on May 3; reconfirm all flights.

Various groups within the air transport sector plan to strike on May 3. ENAV ACC Rome flight controllers will strike from 13:00-17:00. ITA Airways (AZ) has announced the cancellation of dozens of flights on the day in response to the action. Flight attendants of Air Dolomiti (EN) and pilots and flight attendants of Vueling (VY) will also strike for four hours from 13:00-17:00. Workers aligned with the USB trade union at Genoa Airport will strike from 13:00-17:00.
Disruptions to flight schedules and increased demand for alternative flights are likely May 3. Disruptions could continue after the end of each scheduled strike period.
