Authorities plan to defuse a WWII-era bomb in Essen on June 23. The device was discovered during construction work in the Leimkugelstrasse area. Buildings within 250 meters (820 feet) of the site will be evacuated from 09:00 June 23. Disruptions to road travel, including public transport, are likely.
