Strong winds may lead to power outages and property damage in affected areas.
As of early June 30, officials have issued the following weather warnings across the country:
Orange thunderstorm warnings (the middle level on a three-tier scale): Emilia-Romagna, Liguria, Lombardy, Marche, Piedmont, Trentino-Alto Adige, Tuscany, and Umbria regions.
Orange rain warnings: Liguria and Tuscany regions
Yellow thunderstorm and rain warnings: the rest of the affected area.
Officials will likely update and extend the coverage of weather alerts over the coming days.
Hazardous Conditions

The disruptive weather may cause some delays and cancellations at airports in the affected regions. Flooding could block regional rail lines; freight cancellations are possible in areas with heavy rainfall and potential track blockages.
