Officials have reopened evacuated buildings in the Yokota Air Base compound, Tokyo, as of the afternoon of June 15, after security clearance. Authorities had ordered the evacuations at several buildings, as well as closed multiple access gates and roads at around 11:27. The reason for the evacuations was not immediately clear.

Enhanced security measures and lingering localized transport disruptions are possible in the coming hours.
