The LGBTQ community will host its 45th Pride March in downtown Mexico City on June 24. Participants will gather at the Angel de la Independencia monument at 10:00 before marching along Avenida Paseo de la Reforma toward Avenida Juarez. The parade will then continue to its final destination at Centro Historico/Zocalo, where various festivities will occur.

The event will probably draw large numbers of participants. Although the march will very likely remain peaceful, authorities will almost certainly deploy an increased police presence in the city as a precaution and to facilitate the parade. Localized transport and business disruptions are probable.

Consider alternate driving routes if operating in downtown Mexico City June 24. Allow additional time to reach destinations near event locations. Heed the instructions of security personnel.
