Stockholm police are continuing their response to a shooting incident that occurred near the Farsta Centrum shopping mall on the south side of the city during the evening of June 10. At least four persons were wounded in the incident; there have been no reports of fatalities. Authorities subsequently apprehended two suspects near Jarna about 31 km (20 miles) southwest of the crime scene following a vehicle chase along Highway E4 southbound.
Authorities have suspended service at the Farsta metro station, and a heavy police presence will likely remain in place at the shooting and arrest sites as detectives investigate the incident. Localized transport and business disruptions will probably continue into the late evening of June 10.
