Police were deployed to 7 Charles Street West, located near the intersection of Yonge and Bloor, at approximately 06:00 in response to the incident. Two people were injured. Roads in the area, including parts of Balmuto and Charles Street West, have reportedly been closed to facilitate the investigation. Officials have requested that people consider alternative routes. The suspects involved in the shooting have fled. The motive for the incident is unknown. There is no known ongoing threat in the area.
