Event

Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) announced that maintenance works will cause water outages across several areas in southern Pune on July 13. Water supply will resume on July 14, but at reduced pressure. Authorities are urging affected residents to stockpile water in advance and conserve water. Affected locations include Ambegaon Budruk, Katraj, and Yewalewadi, among others.

Some business disruptions are possible, especially for companies that rely on large quantities of municipal water.

Advice

Confirm alternative water supplies for business operations. Pressure and water quality may be poor after service resumes; run taps for several minutes before using water. Use only bottled water from reputable suppliers for drinking and hygienic purposes.
