Kenya: Road disruptions likely due to maintenance work along Mombasa-bound carriageway July 11-16

Transport officials in Kenya have announced that scheduled road maintenance works from 22:00-04:00 will likely cause localized transport disruptions in parts of Mombasa-bound carriageway through July 16. Affected location includes areas between Mlolongo (near Expressway exit)- Athi River interchange. Officials indicated that travelers would be diverted to share one lane and that traffic signs would be mounted along the affected road.

Transport disruptions, including delays and increased congestion on the alternative roads, are likely until at least July 16. Residual disruptions remain possible beyond July 16.
