The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) party plans to hold a protest march from the F-6 Markaz area to the Swedish embassy in Islamabad from 17:30 July 3. Organizers are denouncing the recent desecration of the Muslim holy book during an authorized protest in Stockholm, Sweden. A few hundred supporters may join the event.

Security personnel will likely monitor the protest. Temporary road closures and traffic diversions are possible until the event ends, especially if activists block or march on roadways.
