Heightened security is likely around Diki, Bamingui-Bangoran Prefecture, over the coming days after unidentified gunmen attacked the village July 31, killing 13 people and wounding two others. Security forces launched patrols in the area following the attack. Diki is located approximately 117 km (73 miles) northwest of Ndele, the capital of Bamingui-Bangoran Prefecture.
