Latvia: Activists to protest at Ministry of the Interior in Riga 15:00 Sept. 1 in response to easing of Latvian language requirements for Russians

Activists plan to protest at the Ministry of the Interior building in Riga from 15:00 Sept. 1. The purpose of the action is to denounce a recent decision giving Russian residents of Latvia an additional two years to pass Latvian language examinations. It is unknown how many participants may attend.
