Republican activists plan to hold a parade in Strabane, Northern Ireland, from 14:30 Sept. 3. Participants will gather on John Wesley Street before departing at 15:00 and marching to Strabane Cemetery, where they will arrive at 17:00. The march route includes John Wesley Street, Railway Street, Abercorn Square, Market Street, Main Street, and Townsend Street. An extended gathering is possible at Strabane Cemetery and could last well into the night. Authorities expect about 500 parade participants and 500 spectators to take part.

Heightened security and travel disruptions are likely along the parade route. Isolated confrontations cannot be ruled out.
