Germany: Education groups plan nationwide protests Sept. 23

Campaign groups for education reform plan protests in Berlin and across Germany, Sept. 23. Around 30 demonstrations are planned, across all 16 federal regions.The largest gathering is likely to be in Berlin, where the demonstration will start at 11:00 at the Brandenburg Gate and then march to the Rotes Rathaus. Authorities will almost certainly deploy additional police to monitor the gatherings. Some localized disruptions are possible.
