Germany: Protest march to occur in central Berlin 13:00 Oct. 20

Animal rights activists plan to hold a protest march from Steinplatz to the Royal Danish Embassy in Berlin from 13:00 on Oct. 20 to demand the release of activist Paul Watson. The march route is expected to pass through Wittenbergplatz and culminate in a final rally at the embassy. Participation will likely be in the hundreds.

Increased security and localized transport disruptions are likely near the affected area. Isolated scuffles between law enforcement officers and participants are possible.
