Nigeria: Fire occurs at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos Sept. 6

A fire has been reported at Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS) in Lagos on the morning of Sept. 6. The nature and scope of the fire is currently unclear. There have been no reported flight disruptions as of writing; however, flight disruptions, including flight delays and cancelations, cannot be ruled out over the coming hours at LOS. Emergency response may obstruct access to and from LOS.
