Members of the Union of Construction Workers of Panama (Sindicato Unico Nacional de Trabajadores de la Industria de la Construccion y Similares, SUNTRACS) are protesting in Panama City on Sept. 13 to denounce a mining contract agreement between the government and First Quantum Minerals. Protests have been reported along Via Ricardo J. Alfaro and along Panama Norte near Brisas del Golf. Traffic disruptions are occurring in affected areas.
