US: Police neutralize suspect following shooting incident inside car dealership in Berkeley, California, Sept. 21 /update 1

As of the early afternoon of Sept. 21, police are continuing their investigation into an incident that occurred inside a Toyota automobile dealership along Eastshore Highway in Berkeley, California. Officers exchanged gunfire with the suspect at the scene when responding to a call about a shooting incident; the suspect was reportedly shot during the melee although his condition is unclear. One other person was found injured at the scene.

Authorities have asked the public to avoid the area; however, they assert there is no longer any active threat at the location.
