Activists affiliated with the Last Generation climate movement plan to hold a protest march through central Prague from 17:30 Oct. 3. The purpose of the demonstration is to demand that authorities adopt several proposed reforms with regard to the Bubenska-Wilsonova highway, a major north-south route in the city, to make the thoroughfare safer for pedestrians and cyclists and reduce carbon emissions. Demonstrators will gather near the Vltavska metro station before marching southward along the Bubenska-Wilsonova highway to the National Museum. It was not immediately clear how many individuals would participate in the demonstration.
