Mexico: Unionized teachers protest in Ciudad Juarez Oct. 13

Teachers affiliated with the National Union of Education Workers (Sindicato Nacional de Trabajadores de la Educacion, SNTE) are protesting in front of the Poder Judicial de la Federacion on Avenida Tecnologico in Ciudad Juarez on Oct. 13 to demand the delivery of textbooks. Traffic disruptions have been reported on Avenida Tecnologico.

Localized transport and business disruptions are likely near the gathering. Police will probably monitor the demonstration to mitigate disruptions. Clashes are unlikely, but minor security disturbances are possible, especially if police attempt to disperse protesters.
