The Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F, or Assembly of Islamic Clerics) party will stage a protest march across Sindh Province Oct. 22-Nov. 2. The purpose of the action is to denounce the provincial government's existing policies. While organizers did not immediately reveal specific assembly points as of Oct. 16, JUI-F leaders will reportedly lead the march from various districts before culminating in Karachi. Additional gatherings of varying types could occur through Nov. 2. Potential gathering sites include political party offices, government buildings, public squares, press clubs, sports grounds, and thoroughfares. Well-attended rallies could attract thousands of participants.
