Pakistan International Airlines resume normal operations nationwide as of Oct. 20. Residual disruptions possible.

Informational

Event

Flag carrier Pakistan International Airlines (PK) has announced the resumption of normal flight operations nationwide as of Oct. 20. The airline previously canceled at least 24 international and domestic flights from multiple cities, including Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore, since Oct. 17 after Pakistan State Oil (PSO) suspend fuel supplies over the alleged non-payment of dues.

Residual flight disruptions remain possible over the coming days as the carrier works to clear passenger backlogs.

Advice

Monitor the local media for updates. Contact the airline or relevant airport to reconfirm flights. Do not check out of accommodations until onward travel is confirmed. Consider making alternative arrangements for time-sensitive travel if necessary.
