Activists from the "Islam in Korea" group have called for a pro-Palestine rally outside the Seoul Finance Center staircase (near Exit 5 of Gwanghwamun Station) in Seoul, 12:30 Oct. 11. Participants intend to hold a march; the march route and participation are unclear. While the demonstration is likely to pass off peacefully, counterprotests cannot be ruled out.

Heightened security is likely in the vicinity of the protest site, especially near the Israeli embassy. Traffic disruptions are possible if the event is well attended, mainly along Cheonggyecheon-ro and Sejong-daero. Participants may engage in minor scuffles with rival groups and/or security forces.
